Objective of the Compliance Risk Management (CRM) Framework
To:
- provide an operational framework, a strategic plan and principles for nationally consistent compliance and risk management for the Regulator and organisations and individuals subject to the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards Act 2005 (WELS Act); and
- introduce the publicly available information about the WELS CRM arrangements, including:
- this CRM Framework;
- education and awareness information; and
- protocols about how the plan will be implemented through such activities as monitoring, audits and investigations.
