Exploring WELS scheme registrations
WELS scheme registrations last for five years and a substantial number are now expiring. Please start preparing for the re-registration of products you intend to keep supplying beyond their current registration expiry date.
You will be sent a number of reminder emails, the first one six months before a registration expires. To ensure that there is no gap between an expiring registration and a re-registration, it is important to take action early.
Along with information about the re-registration process, applications for re-registrations can be made at http://www.waterrating.gov.au/products/registration.html#re-registration
WELS scheme supplier information sessions
As part of the WELS scheme communication strategy, a round of supplier information sessions aimed at retailers will commence in April 2011. The initial sessions are scheduled to be delivered in Sydney, Wollongong and Melbourne. More information will be provided on the WELS website www.waterrating.gov.au as it becomes available.
