A sample of the WELS label must accompany your online application for registration.
Label specifications are detailed in Annex B of the WELS standard (Australian and New Zealand Standard AS/NZS6400:2005 Water efficient products—Rating and labelling) that is available for purchase from the Standards Australia International (SAI) Global webshop .
The standard contains important information about the label design, including rounding of the water consumption figure and the sizing, colours and fonts to be used.
Please remember that different products may have different labelling requirements. It is your responsibility as the registrant to ensure that all labels meet the requirements of the WELS standard.
